As expected, Sony has officially unveiled the a7S III, and it’s one hell of a camera that’s squarely aimed at videographers. While I’m sure the camera will do just fine for photos, as the 12-megapixel count shows, it’s heart is in video. While I’ll be posting a more in-depth take on the camera later, here are the Sony a7S III key specs from this monster, videographer oriented camera.

  • 12-megapixel Full-Frame Exmor R BSI CMOS Sensor
  • 4K 120p video, 10-Bit 4:2:2 Internal

  • 15+ stops of dynamic range
