Style Cover View case for Xperia 1 II and Xperia 5 II announced
A folio-like case that allows you to see the display
Not content with just offering the Style Cover with Stand case, Sony has also revealed the Style Cover View for Xperia 1 II and Xperia 5 II. As cases go, it’s mostly a standard folio design that protects the front and rear of the phone. However, what makes this case unique is the transparent front cover that allows you to see incoming notifications and whatever else that might pop up on your screen without needing to open the case. Many treat their phones as their go-to device for finding out the time, making this a pretty useful feature.
Made from polycarbonate material, the Style Cover View case is IPX5/8 water-resistant and weighs in at 56 grams for Xperia 1 II and 51 grams for Xperia 5 II. Once available, those with Xperia 1 II will be able to get the case in black, grey, and purple while those with an Xperia 5 II will have their choice of black, grey, blue, and mint.
It’s unclear when either case will launch and in which countries.
